Earn a Remote Work Certificate from Purdue University, Enroll through November 2

Professionals who work remotely—including entrepreneurs, virtual employees, freelancers, etc.—have an opportunity to earn a Certificate in Remote Work at no charge from Purdue University. The next cohort is November 7 – December 9, 2022. Register through November 2, at https://pcrd.purdue.edu/remoteworkcertificate/ and use code SBAGrant22.

Purdue University offers this program at no charge to participants in the following counties: Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Kosciusko, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, Wabash, Wells, and WhitleyRegister today and use code SBAGrant22. This is made possible through Purdue’s role as a Spoke Organization through NIIC Community Navigator Pilot Program.

Purdue defines remote work as any form of work in which you are not required to regularly commute to and from work from a centralized location. Since 2005, remote work has grown by 173%.

The 4-Week Remote Certificate Program provides online education on how to be a successful remote worker and aims to change the way you work for the better. This program supports remote work transition through:

·         Supportive online community

·         Tools and skills needed to work remotely

·         Weekly Zoom meetings

·         Interactive workshops

·         Direct collaboration with peers and coaches

·         Completely online
