Entrepreneurs are an integral part of the economy, and their footprint is significant. That’s why we are celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week 2017 at The NIIC. It’s an opportunity to convene and connect the entrepreneurial community and thank them for how they impact our region.
This morning entrepreneurs kicked it off with an informal Business Builder Breakfast at The NIIC. Attendees made meaningful connections with others to help with their businesses.
A Student Entrepreneurial Meet-Up is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14, 3-4 p.m. Entrepreneurial-minded students are invited to meet up to talk about their ventures and/or ideas to start a business, connect with Student Venture Lab Program participants, and NIIC business coaches. The food will be good and conversation loose. No charge to attend the event.
Women entrepreneurs are convening over Caffeinated Conversations 7:30-9 a.m., Wednesday, November 15. Sherry Aden of Brightpoint will discuss micro-lending for women-owned businesses. Roundtable discussions will follow with table topics led by Women’s Entrepreneurial Opportunity Center (WEOC) Advisory Council members. Complimentary breakfast provided, and registration is required.
