D-n-S Design Co. wins 2016 Mirro Student Founder Award
D-n-S Design Co. has won the 2016 Mirro Student Founder Award, an honor bestowed by the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center.
The Mirro award was created to recognize the top performing student venture during the during the NIIC Student Venture Lab Demo Day.
Karl LaPan, the NIIC’s president and CEO, said winners must also demonstrate personal excellence, have energy and passion, and make a lasting impact.
Matt Vanlandingham and Lindal Walker, company founders, accepted the award and a check for $1,250 Tuesday at the NIIC’s annual fundraiser. The independent gaming developers want to create a local community of gamers, programmers and artists.
