Fort Wayne, IN – Nice Technologies, a company specializing in actuarial modeling software for the insurance and financial industries, will host a ribbon-cutting and launch event on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to noon at the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center (NIIC), 3201 Stellhorn Road, Fort Wayne, IN.
Nice Technologies CEO Igor Nikitin and NIIC CEO Mike Fritsch will offer brief remarks at the ribbon-cutting.
At the event, Nice Technologies will unveil Nice Engine, an innovative actuarial modeling software developed through the combined expertise of the company’s leadership team. Co-founders Igor Nikitin, Tyler Furman, and Jose Sanchez were instrumental in the platform’s development, alongside CFO Jason Furman (Daenens) and Head of Marketing Shea Frates.
Nikitin, CEO of Nice Technologies, envisioned a user-centric, open, and cost-effective platform to revolutionize actuarial modeling. The goal of Nice Engine is to empower users with a robust tool that facilitates accurate business cash flow predictions and risk assessments.
Tyler Furman led the data platform development, focusing on user experience, simplicity, and practicality. Jose Sanchez oversaw the calculation engine, applying his extensive knowledge of software engineering and actuarial calculations. Jason Furman provided expertise in financial management and fundraising, while Shea Frates contributed specialized marketing knowledge from the insurance industry. The result is Nice Engine, a product built with passion, precision, and attention to detail.
A year and a half after its founding, Nice Technologies selected the Northeast Indiana Innovation Center (NIIC) as its permanent home, aligning with NIIC’s mission to “transform people, companies, and communities through entrepreneurship.” The company officially opened its office at the NIIC in September 2024 and is preparing to attend its first major industry conference to promote its new platform.
